A list of people, with no particular order, that impacted us in our trip, and somehow inspired us in making this website:

  • Alí, a good fellow traveller between Amman and Damasco
  • The hotel reception staff Beit Wakil of Aleppo, this increible hotel was full, but they didn't rest until they found us another room in another beautiful hotel, the Mandaloun, even, they came with us to the hotel
  • The Baremke children, a little insistent at the beginning, but charming in our second encounter, you deserve all the gratuities of the world
  • Ahmad, our taxi driver in Palmyra, he took care of us during two days, and shown us the best places and people of siryan desert
  • The Palmyra bedouins, Ahmad friends, his hospitality impacted us and it was worth the effort of learning a few phrases of Arabic
  • Ibrahim, the "bicycle boy" of Palmyra, because the one who follows it, obtains it... :)
  • The kids with the camels near the Zenobia Hotel, just for the same reason... :)
  • Mohammad Alfalh and his family for their help,and take care of us in the interchange bus station of Harasta to Baremke in Damascus
  • Mr. Rouhie, we met him in Allemby border, and he came with us to Jericho and Ramallah. Everytime, he minded about our security and we'd got all that we could need....he was our guardian angel
  • The staff of Jerusalem Hotel, they made we felt like at home
  • Abu Hassan, from Jerusalem Hotel, for show us the hardest face of the conflict in Abu Dis and the Qalandia checkpoint
  • The children of the refugee camp of Deheisha, their innocence and joy, simply, the best memory of the trip... We wish you the best of the futures...
  • Yasser, worker of the NGO Karama, for the development of children and women of the refugee camp of Deheisa, for his work and the time he dedicated to us
  • Cheiko, the brave Japanese tourist who we met in Wadi Rum, and who we had the misfortune to evacuate due to her hip fracture... we wish you a quickly and complete recovery.
