We get up at 6:00 AM and in a few minutes we are in the bus station next to the Movenpick hotel. Several stamps in the ticket and after the baggage check, we are in the ground floor of a modern bus. There is food and drink service on board. In less than 4 hours, we are in the JETT station in the center of Amman. There, we decide to catch a taxi for 8 JD that takes us to the international airport Queen Allia, where 3 weeks ago our adventure began.
We have arrived four hours in advance, so we are the first in the line, which give us hopes of getting exit row seats that usually have more leg space. When they open the check-in counters we find the unpleasant surprise that we don't appear in the confirmation list, despite having confirmed from Aqaba, and there is over-booking. After some tension with the representative from Iberia in Jordan that suspiciously let pass a good number of Spanish tourist groups assisted by local guides that are in a similar situation. Seeing the negligent behavior of the Iberia representative, some canaries guys generously offer us to pass camouflaged in their group. Finally, and after some moments of tension, everything gets fixed and we get get the last two seats of the airplane and we end crossing the police controls in a hurry to avoid missing the flight.
The return flight is quite easy, and after flying over the Greek islands, Sicily and Sardinia, in a few hours the journey concludes in the Madrid-Barajas airport, still impressed by all the feelings of the last weeks, especially the days lived in Palestine.
We now have to start thinking in the next trip...
