Middle East Trip 2003: Syria | Lebanon | Jordan | Palestine The Palestinian-Israeli conflict Travelogue
Petra
The old cityyh of Petra is one of the wonders of Jordan. It's possible that some of the facades don't surprise the visitor due the number of times we have seen them in books and TV, but what always it's amazing is the natural beauty of this place, with and endless and incredible defile and large walls of arenaceous rock with multicolour veins. The dimensions of the place and difficult access to some of the monuments make the visit to Petra a complete experience.
